I am incredibly blessed to work with some really great people; you know the kind, they are awesome co-workers but they are even better friends outside of work. A few of us have been trying to make it out to
North Hills for beach music on Thursday nights, but it has either rained or we had schedule conflicts. Last night, we finally made it! We went to
Vivace for dinner first, which is one of my favorite restaurants, and then headed over to the commons for the concert.
We started our dinner with these little biscuits with peach marmalade.
We all ordered pizza: KR & LN both got the Margherita pizza and I got the Four Cheese pizza [without onions].
We did some drink sampling with pinot grigio. However, I am a huge fan of Vivace's sangria, so we opted for glasses of that.
And we finished our meal with dessert that we all shared. This is the warm bittersweet chocolate cake. And yes, that is a marshmallow melted on top.
To finish our night, we caught the last hour and a half of the concert. The Craig Woolard Band was playing, and it took me back to my college days when they used to do free concerts in Washington, NC at summer festival.
It was really great to hang out with these girls, especially since we're in the final countdown to going back to work!
Happy Friday!
xoxo
