Friday's 5!

Happy Friday!  This was such a long week for me with everything I had to catch up on after "all" of the snow last week.  It seems like the next two weeks aren't going to be any slower either.  But being busy is good, right?

Through my browsing of Target earlier this week, I stumbled across these great booties for spring.  I love the cut out detail.  I'm dying for spring weather and spring fashion, so I may just have to pull the trigger on these.

A few weeks ago, I posted about my "something new" for the wedding and how I bought these monogrammed Jack Rogers.  I chose the bone color because they didn't have the metallic.  Well wouldn't you know it, now they make monogrammed metallic Jack Rogers.  I'm kicking myself because these are so perfect.

I got an e-mail earlier in the week from DG with a list of dates for the month of February.  He wanted me to be on the same page about his schedule.  I was beyond ecstatic because sometimes I feel like he springs things on me because he thought he had told me.  One of the things on the list included that he made plans for us for our anniversary next Friday and that I didn't need to ask any questions, just not make plans.  I can't wait (and yeah... our anniversary is on Valentine's Day.  I'd rather not talk about it).

Essie's resort collection is so fabulous I can't stand it!  I'm dying over "Under the Twilight" (bottom) and "Resort Fling" (top) colors.  Have you tried any of the new colors yet?

My friend Lauren posted about how she is trying to be more fit in the new year.  If you remember, one of my goals was to run more frequently throughout the new year.  I'm not going to lie, I haven't been doing a great job because of time commitments during the week and how cold it's been.  However, I decided that I could still work out.  DG's parents gave me a yoga mat for my birthday, so I have been doing a variety of exercises found on Pinterest.  Two things that I've been consistent with sticking to:

Any of Robin Long's "The Balanced Life" pilates videos on YouTube are great.  I did her long, lean triceps, 10 minute pilates, and glute work out yesterday and boy... I am feeling it today!

What are you up to this weekend?

Any good workout channels on YouTube I should check out?

Speaking of checking out, head over and check out the girls who do the 5 on Friday!
