Tuesday Toast: Tribute to Boston

As I've mentioned, I am not an expert runner.  I do it for stress relief, for socialization, and for health. I do it because of how awesome I feel afterwards.  I will never forget where I was when I heard about the Boston Marathon bombings and I couldn't believe it was real.  It was one of those moments like when 9-11 happened.  I still remember where I was and what I was doing.

I remember David and I sitting for hours watching the updates on trying to capture one of the guys.  I remember tweeting something along the lines of: "I don't care about your OOTD or your mani of the day.  Go turn on the news."  This was such a low point.  But just like with 9-11, the bombing had the opposite effect of what the guys wanted.  Boston is strong and on Monday, I will be participating in the Boston Marathon World Run Day to honor and remember those who were injured, lost their lives, and helped.

Will you join me?
