For most of my adult life, I have a really difficult time deleting numbers, e-mail addresses, people off Facebook, etc. It is mainly because I have realized that people come in and out of life at various times, and I want to always be able to contact someone if I want to remind them of a funny story or just let them know I'm thinking of them.
This realization came when I reconnected with my friend Lauren after meeting her through my parents. Another friend from high school and I lost touch but reconnected and I really am so happy we did because we share some hysterical stories and inside jokes. And another friend I've reconnected with recently is my friend Owen. Owen has a fantastic blog that she somehow keeps updated while attending PA school full time. Let me just warn you, she has IMPECCABLE style. She has the best wardrobe imaginable and she and her newlywed husband are the most gorgeous couple on the face of the earth. Ironically, our weddings are 6 months apart, so it was great watching her go through her wedding planning and actual event via social media.
