It's been a while since I posted a recipe, but I saw this last week on
Zelle's blog and I had to try it.
It was SO easy and so fast... and also delish. We didn't have any left overs.
Here are the instructions:
Ingredients:
- 9 oz package of tortellini (I used Butoni chicken)
- 1 to 1 1/2 cup of shredded mozzarella (I also used Parmesan)
- 2-3 tablespoons grated Parmesan
- 1-2 cups spaghetti sauce
- parsley for garnish (I also added red pepper, garlic powder, oregano)
Instructions:
- Follow instructions for cooking tortellini
- Toss together with spaghetti sauce
- Place in a 1 1/2 quart baking dish and top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes. During the last couple minutes, flip the broiler on to brown the top. Seriously, it makes it that much better.
- Sprinkle with parsley.
It is SO good and so easy to make. When you are short on time, give it a shot!
