Weekending: Ups and Downs

Happy Monday, y'all!  I'm back with my Weekending recap with Biana!

Friday was our first official day of summer break.  DG and I were so insanely productive, it was almost embarassing.  Of course I didn't take any pictures of him pressure washing the house, or all of the wedding related information I took care of, but we did so much and it was so relieving.

I finally finished seasons 1 and 2 of Revenge and now I'm itching for season 3 to come to Netflix.

Late Friday night, our friends welcomed their second baby girl into the world.  Saturday morning, we got up and went to see her.

I had to work Saturday night and I may or may not need this mug from there.

I worked late, so DG came to downtown Apex and we went to Anna's for pizza.  We're having our rehearsal dinner there in less than 2 weeks, so it will probably be our final time eating there before then.

Saturday night, I started having wedding nightmares.  I rememeber following along with Megan's wedding planning and when she started having wedding nightmares.

Sunday, I had to grocery shop, and this picture that I saw on Bevello's Insta sums up my thoughts on that.

I also took care of cleaning what parts of the house I could with two wrestling and slobbering dogs.  Winston's friend Chloe is staying here until Wednesday while her parents are in Texas visiting family.

When I was out running errands, I found this swim suit.  I also picked up a couple of candles from Target.  I got a bamboo jasmine and saltwater orchid candle.  I burned one in the living room and one in the kitchen and they mixed really well together, and burned really well.  Not bad for $12 each.

And, my posse had a belated birthday dinner for our little boo, Mary!  We went to our favorite sushi place in Brier Creek for dinner.

Unrelated, I got devastating news from one of my oldest and closest friends on Saturday night.  I'm asking for thoughts and prayers for her and her husband as they go through a difficult time.

xoxo,
