Suburb Sunday: Chairish

Since the wedding, I have been missing planning.  I planned the wedding for over a year and a half, and now I'm planning parties and projects I want to do around the house.  I am happy DG and I are focusing on the house because it occupies that planning component.  The problem is that we have to do a little at a time and I definitely like instant gratification.

I will tell you that the hardest part of owning a house was recognizing that our house was never going to look like a Pinterest spread.  A lot of the furniture DG and I have was hand-me-down furniture.  We are grateful to friends and family who helped us with that, but it definitely isn't our own.

I was contacted by Chairish to create a story board of how I would decorate with an accent chair.  I am drawn to clean colors.  I would say that my favorite home colors are browns and grays.  It was no surprise that I picked this chair from them.

I love a good leather chair, and this one is absolutely handsome.  I would love to update our living room with hardwood floors instead of carpet with a cream sofa and love seat.

I also am attracted to lucite and mercury.

Chairish is awesome because it is an online flea market.  If you sign up for their e-mails, you get $20 off your first order of $100.  Even more awesome, you can make an offer on their products.  They have an awesome selection of accent chairs.  Check them out here.

What is your vision of your living room?  Is it completed or a work in progress?

Happy Sunday!

xoxo,
