Weekending: Another Went By Too Fast

Good morning, girlfriends!  My weekend wasn't too exciting to recap, and I can't lie... I'm a little relieved about that.  However, I still didn't get caught up or even that much rest.

Here's how it went:

Thursday was a teacher workday.  I was super productive, which was awesome.  My motto in life is to work smarter not harder, and each year I feel I master that a little more.  Thursday night, my buddy KP and I went to a fashion show at Swagger Gifts in Cary.  It was an adorable show, and gave me flashbacks to my modeling days for my friend Lauren over at Monkee's Boutique in Greenville (hah)!

Swagger offered 20% off the entire store afterwards and I picked up a great sweater dress for fall.  I will be doing a post about it soon, so stay tuned!

After the show, KP and I went over to Bocci for dinner and champagne.  After all, it was Champagne Thursday!

Friday after work, I ran home, snuggled with Winston and did a few things around the house before heading back out to Pure Barre.  It's insane how fast I've seen results.  It definitely lives up to the hype for sure!  I snapped this picture while Winston and I were hanging out outside because I do love a Vestique tunic.

DG and I met up back home and ran out for a quick dinner at a local restaurant, My Way Tavern.  We hadn't been in a couple of months, and they've revamped their menu.  We were super impressed. We always get the chip and dip platter for an appetizer, and they had pieces of soft pretzels cut up that they had deep fried (!!!) along with their normal homemade chips and ranch dressing.  Holy cow it was good.

I got a cobb salad and was seriously impressed.  We'll definitely be going back soon.

Saturday, I worked for 8 hours.  I tried out another outfit combo, but cracked up because it was so gorgeous outside, the light reflected off my skirt.

When I got home Saturday night, DG hooked up a TV outside for us to watch football and enjoy the weather on our screened in porch.  I'm planning on doing a home tour soon so you can see some of the updates we've done.  Amy and Ryan came over and hung out with us for a while and it was great to catch up and relax.  The weather was insane last night, but it got a little chilly so I was able to try out my new favorite sweater from Vestique.

Sunday, DG and I ran some errands around town.  I did a bunch of various odds and ends for work this week on the screened in porch with Winston.  I tried out a new nail polish too.
