Weekending: The Best

I feel like I say this every week, but my weeks are crazy busy these days.  Since the beginning of the school year, I've been working 3 jobs.  This is the last week of what I have been referring to as hell weeks.  I am actually working a 4th job this week, and as much as I don't want to wish time away, I can't wait for this to be the last hell week for a while.  However, this weekend was so awesome, it made this morning a little easier.

Friday, I worked late (which is one of my jobs) to help out with athletics, so my friend Clarke and I ran up to Bad Daddy's to have dinner before we started our job.

Of course we got loaded tater tots.

We split the Frenchie and truffle fries.

When I got home Friday night, as usual, I crashed pretty hard.  Winston and I snuggled up on the couch and it was lights out for me.

Saturday morning, I woke up and went to Pure Barre.  I'm really loving that class so much.

I came home and DG and I deep cleaned the house and cars before heading over to our friends for Oktoberfest.

Laura and Jon had homemade pretzels and German dishes and then beers to sample.  The deal was everyone brought a six pack to share and then we voted on who had the best beer.

I was a judge for the fall beer category.  These were our picks.

Laura led the sampling.

I got to catch up with Amy, but somehow ending up looking like I didn't have a neck and a hump back.

DG and I headed home a little early to have a date night.  We got take out and went out back to enjoy our firepit with Winston.  It was 40 degrees Saturday night, so we had a great night for a fire.

Sunday, I slept in a little and then got up and did my weekly meal planning and organized my week.  DG and I got cable back, so I have enjoyed my Sunday morning ritual of watching the Golden Girls while doing that.

It was a gorgeous, gorgeous day in Raleigh.  I finally got to wear my Zara blanket scarf from Foi Clothing!

I went to Trader Joe's to pick up some things and I loved their pumpkin display.  I picked up a few more for our front stoop.

When I got home, I finished up things around our house and got ready for the week.

I made this pot roast for dinner.

I started feeling like this, so I went and rearranged some things in the kitchen, including this gorgeous arrangement of flowers I picked up from Trader Joe's.  However, I need to take a flower arranging class.

And finally, Winston, DG, and I relaxed before crashing.  We all had a productive weekend, and were exhausted when we got to bed.

How was your weekend?  Link up with Biana and me and let us know!
