Weekending: Valentine Edition

Happy Monday, y'all!  We're hunkering down in North Carolina because Snowmegadon is on its way this afternoon.  I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little excited.  I have this vision of snuggling with Winston and DG in front of a fire with lots of coffee.  Lots and lots of coffee.

Wednesday, I had a early glimpse at the weekend with a Galentine's Party with ECW and KP.  We got to try out a spray tan from Sunless Seduction.  Stay tuned for my recap tomorrow but I am obsessed with my tan.

Friday night, DG and I went to Tupelo Honey for our weekly date night dinner.  We've heard lots of things about it and we were definitely impressed.  The decor was adorable and DG and I are thinking we'll go back for brunch.

Perhaps one of the best biscuits I've ever eaten.

Saturday was the first day in a long time that I haven't had anything planned.  I was pumped to have a day off and I got a great run in on the tobacco trail.  I'm running a half in March, so I've been trying to take my training more seriously than I have with previous half marathons.

I finally got to give DG the Valentine I got him.  I usually don't love Valentine's Day and I don't usually love cards, but I thought Rifle Paper did a great job with this adorable card.  And I was so surprised to get the candle I've been lusting after.

DG and I had a lowkey evening Saturday and were able to relax.

Sunday, DG woke me up because he had cooked me breakfast, which was a really great gesture.  We try to have breakfast together on Sunday mornings, but we haven't really been on the same schedule recently.

He headed out to do some work, so I hung out with Winston and gave him his belated Valentine.  That guy loves a Greenies dental chew.
