Saturday morning, I got to indulge in Sugar Handmade Gourmet Donuts. I had the maple bacon and DG had the chocolate glazed, and omg. I don't even really love donuts, but I mean, these were amazing.
DG's team had a pretty big soccer game, so I was excited to go support, but also to try out some settings on my camera I haven't had a chance to explore. Verdict? I need more practice.
We got back on Saturday afternoon and spent some time with some of our friends over dinner. I set about 3 alarms to wake up for the Lilly for Target event, and slept through both. When I woke up at 7:00, everything was gone online. And my local Target only received 4 racks, so when the line was all the way around the building, I decided to go home and wave my white flag. And to eye this dress:

Winston and I hope you have a great week!
Don't forget to link up with Biana and me to tell us how your weekend was!

P.S. are you following me on Instagram (@champagneandsuburbs) yet?

Wow! A food truck rodeo?? Sounds really fun and yummy! And so did those donuts.
ReplyDeleteI had a bad Lilly experience too. But what can ya do?! I definitely have my eye on the new line.
Have a great day!
We have something here called truckaroo which sounds like your food truck rodeo. So much fun and good eats!!
ReplyDeleteI've never even heard of celeriac haha (and my autocorrect didn't change it, so obviously it's a real thing). I would have been intimidated too, but happy to be getting out of the cooking comfort zone as well! :)
Hope your Monday's off to a good start!!
Such a fun friday night with you, lovie!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun weekend! I'm pretty sure sleep was more important than new Lilly gear and so fun that you got to see Joey!
ReplyDeleteI hate that I couldn't meet up with y'all Friday, but glad you had a good time at the food trucks!
ReplyDeleteSo fun that y'all had a blogger friend get-together! Jealous!! I stayed far away from Target and all the crazies yesterday. I am loving all the home stuff online… might try to see if they have any left later this week! Xoxo
ReplyDeleteI didn't even attempt the Lilly for Target... it seemed like a lost cause! Now I will just sadly read everyone's blog posts about all of their Target goodies :(
ReplyDeleteOh those donuts...I want some this morning! So glad you had a great weekend and you're totally right - blue apron helps you branch out and more confident in the kitchen! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston
ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree more about that coffee. But same! I was so bummed about Lilly! I went to bed at 2 and it still wasn't live. Got up at 7 and the one thing I wanted was sold out. What can ya do?

Those donuts look ahhhhmazing! And I feel like such a bad blogger for totally bypassing the Lilly-Target collab, but it sounds like it was total madness :-P
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous week!
The Target Lilly madness was crazy, I didn't brave it. I want to hang out with you girls!!! <--- whiny voice. haha
ReplyDeleteDamn Lilly invasion/madness ha. I love that maxi so hope you can find it without paying two arms like regular Lilly! Your donut pic had me drooling this weekend btw!
ReplyDeleteThat donut sounds and looks amazing!! The lines and the craziness over the LP line is crazy. Best to stay and snuggle with Winston anyways!
ReplyDeleteSounds like such a great weekend! All the Lilly stories from yesterday are so crazy. Such a bummer you didn't get that dress!

Love the action shot! I definitely need to practice more with my DSLR and get familiar with more settings. - Svetlana @ Life with a Side of Wine
