I'm switching up this week's favorites with a few of my favorite purchases.

I ordered these four Rifle Paper Co. hard cover books for our guest bedroom.  We're about to paint the guest bedroom a more neutral color, but I love these books for a pop for color on our shelves.  I also love that they are some of my favorite childhood books.

Little Women // Anne of Green Gables // Heidi // A Little Princess

Rifle Paper Co. was having a sale, so I snagged a few prints for our house.  I'm working on a gallery wall in our bedroom and updatigng pictures in others, so I thought this was perfect.  If you're not sure why I picked D.C. and Charleston, check out my recaps (D.C. 1 // D.C. 2 // Charleston 1 // Charleston 2)

Washington D.C. // Charleston

My bright green kitchen is about to go to a more neutral color with a fun new back splash.  I wanted to keep a little color with this sweet print.  Y'all know Rifle Paper is my love language and this print is no exception.  Look at those manicured nails and that swivel straw.  {insert heart-eyed emoji here}

I regretfully could not attend Megan George's book signing for Modern Terrarium when she had a book signing and event at West Elm in Durham.  Megan has an awesome Instagram account @theZENsucculent that I've been following for a while, so I was ecstatic to learn she has written a book!  I love potted succulents, but this girl has major talent.  Her book is beautiful and so easy to follow.   Stay tuned for when I try my own succulent creation soon!  Head over and check out her Instagram account and her Etsy shop here.

Thanks again, Megan!

Now that I'm back from Atlanta, I've been catching up on some yard work.  This Scala Collezione hat is perfect for being outdoors in the heat.  I always get burnt on my scalp and on my ears, so this hat has been perfect in protecting me from sun damage.  My favorite part of the Scala hat is that there is 50+ SPF rating, which is huge for anti-aging beauty and health reasons.  I am so appreciative for the opportunity to try out this hat!  I've really found it to be handy when laying out at the pool, too!  Bonus is the brim can be rolled up or down, which comes in handy for me when I get tired of having something rubbing on my neck.
