Hey y'all! Did you have a good weekend? I mean, how could you not? The 4th of July fell on a Saturday and the U.S. Women's National Team won the World Cup!
My weekend was seriously a great one. The 4th of July is my favorite holiday, so I knew it would be good, but it was even better than I anticipated. For one, I crossed off one of my 30 before 30 items. Do you see which one it is? Just in case you don't, I'll help ya out...
I am now a member of the Southern Blog Society! I'm so excited to be a part of such an awesome community of bloggers!
I also got to wear this adorable (on sale!) top from Anthro to kick off the holiday weekend. Details:
Friday night, DG and I tried out a new-to-us restaurant that serves deep dish pizza. It was delicious and we both highly recommend if you're in the area. Whatever you do, order the garlic knots!
We spent the 4th of July with some of our best buds cooking out and using up the remaining wedding sparklers we had.
P.S. Here's what I wore:
On Sunday, DG and I grabbed breakfast from Bagels Plus, went to the Flea Market, and caught up on some yardwork before heading out to watch the World Cup final! We were so excited at the outcome! Did you watch the game? Who is your favorite player?
You may have also seen this picture on Instagram, but I cut some fresh hydrangea blooms and used my new milk glass vases I got from a local antique shop.
In other news, I started a Twitter account specifically for Champagne and Suburbs. I'd love for you to follow me. Also, are you following me on Instagram and Pinterest? Oh! And I'm on SnapChat! Follow me at mbg0112!
And! Did you see yesterday's post of the one pot pasta dish? So easy and delicious!
Hope you had a great weekend! Link up here to share with Biana and me!
