Over the past year, I've started to embrace more of who I am in fashion, and just as a whole. That whole getting older thing hasn't been so bad. This outfit makes me feel most like myself. I love the chambray dress, because it's casual, comfortable, but looks put together. Bourbon and Boweties bangles are hands down my favorite fashion bracelets. This leather tote I ordered from Magnolia Market really is fashion + function. The booties add a fun touch, and the dark nails and Ray-Bans my fashion staples.
Let me pause and tell you about this necklace.
This necklace is from Threads by
The Shine Project. I learned about The Shine Project when I was in Atlanta, and y'all, I won't even lie to you. I ended up crying in the booth. Ashley founded the Shine Project to provide scholarships to at-risk youth who would be the first in their families to go to college. Her project has expanded since then, and despite my vagueness in recent months, is something I am
incredibly passionate about these days. Read more about The Shine Project
here.
This post is not sponsored by The Shine Project. I am just incredibly passionate about education and seeing first generation college students become successful.
Hope you had a great holiday weekend! Did you catch yesterday's recap?
Be sure to check back this week for perhaps my favorite collaboration to date!
