Weekend Snaps: 3 Day Edition

Haha my parents call me the princess for a reason . And I love Marilyn www.thepageantplanet.com:

Y'all, every week should be a 4 day week.  I love how productive but also relaxing 3 day weekends are.  Here's my recap:

My Friday afternoon and evening looked pretty much like this:

Wild Friday, only lose the coffee and computer and add kids jumping all over ym bed and screaming!:

I finally got caught up on Bloglovin' and it felt glorious!

If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen that I upgraded my coffee maker to this one.  And I am obsessed.  The k-cup side is really convenient on weekdays when I drink only one cup of coffee before heading in to work (bonus points: it is tall enough for a travel mug) but it's also going to be great for guests and on weekends when I have several cups of coffee.

Saturday morning, I met my sweet friend Em at La Farm before heading in to work.  Let me tell ya.  I love women who lift other women up.  And Em has really been amazing.  She has me challenge myself, is so loving and supportive, and just kinda the best.  Local gals, check her out for #girlboss awesomeness and for amazing photography.

DG and I took care of some updates around the house (stay tuned for more on this Wednesday) for the rest of the time.

My sweet friend Lauren is in town, so we had a small get together at our house this afternoon.  I was so excited to see her, and honestly, didn't even think to take pictures because I was too busy gabbing.
Hope y'all had a great weekend!  Stay tuned tomorow morning for a new outfit post.  If you follow me on Instagram, you've already seen a sneak peek!

P.S. North Carolina folks!  Enter to win tickets to the Southern Ideal Home Show at the State Fairgrounds September 25-27!  I have two tickets to give away and I'm SO excited about this show because Hillary Farr from Love It or List It is doing a question and answer session!  She is one of my favorites on HGTV!  Check out my recap from the Spring edition here!
