Weekending: Birthday & Giveaway

A thought for a new week #monday Not convince that "mon" is French for "mine", but I still like this quote:

How awesome is this Monday motivation quote?  I saved it to my phone as a reminder when I want to complain about it being Monday again.  Before I jump in to my weekend recap, I owe y'all an apology.  My desolate post was slightly misleading.  DG and I aren't moving back east.  While I love the idea, I'm not sure that's would ever happen.  But don't worry, what's in the works is something that, in my opinion, is even better.
However, I wanted to share this as part of my apology for my vagueness.  This article really spoke to me over the summer.  It is such an important concept, not just for eastern North Carolina, but for areas that are seeing their populations dry up.
Alright, enough of that.  Let's jump into my weekend recap.
Friday night wasn't super exciting.  I cleaned up, headed in to work, and then came home to finish cleaning a little and then to get my outfits ready for another round of fashion photos with my favorite girl Em Grey.  P.S. she has some super exciting news.  Check out her video here.
Saturday was a marathon day for me.  Em and I did photos in Durham before I headed into Raleigh to pick up some fresh dahlias and pumpkins from the farmers market.  I got ready for DG's birthday party for the rest of the day.  I wish I had taken pictures, but it was such a slammed day, I just didn't think about it.  However, I posted this on Instagram as a sneak peek of my new favorite shirt from Heritage Farms.

Sunday was DG's actual birthday, and he had two requests.  He wanted to watch the Bills game at the restaurant that serves his favorite chicken tenders and homemade chips, and then relax.  So, that's what happened.
So, I blogger failed on the photos, but we had a great time!
