2015 Recap

(source unknown) Can I tell you a secret?  I don't love odd number years.  This year had a lot of excitement and changes, but I was left with a lot of questions that I hope to answer in 2016.

{January}

I celebrated my 28th birthday with a much needed spa day.
I accepted a new position in August of 2014 and started in January. We attended the annual oyster roast back east.

{February}

We had our second official Raleigh Blog Society event at Frill.  It was a beautiful Galentine's Brunch. DG and I celebrated our 4 year dating anniversary at the new Tupelo Honey in Raleigh. We went two rounds with unseasonably cold and icy weather in NC.

{March}

I went to the premiere of Frill on Shark Tank! I completed the St. Paddy's 8K in downtown Raleigh.  It's become a tradition for my buddy KP and me.

I planned a girls night out in downtown Apex (part one & two). I shared my 5 minute beauty routine in the morning. I ran my 5th half marathon! Raleigh Blog Society takes on Wine and Design!

{April}

My buddy KP and I explored Edenton. Rode in style to the Eric Church concert.

{May}

Wrote my second travel post about what to do in Raleigh in 36 hours. We added another fur child to the mix when we adopted Gizmo. Celebrated Mary's upcoming wedding with a bachelorette party in Fort Myers. I didn't post too much about this, but DG won the state championship with the soccer team he coaches.

{June}

I made my first summer bucket list. (image via) I created my 30 before 30 list. I got to meet my oldest friend's baby boy. Wrote my 1st anniversary tribute. We celebrated our first anniversary in Charleston in style at the Wentworth Mansion.  Recap here: 10 Things to Do in Charleston |  

{July}

Celebrated 4th of July with our friends. Went to Atlanta with Stylish Living to help with inventory. Finally got a new coffee table.

{August}

We went hiking on Eno River. I refinished this trunk and began our Annie Sloan chalk paint obsession. Went to my first The Blog Societies event! Met with the ladies of Raleigh Blog Society for brunch!

{September}

We did some new home updates. Met the RBS girls for FlyBarre and Brixx pizza.  Celebrated DG's 31st birthday. Made my Autumn bucket list.

{October}

DG and I went to Buffalo.  10 Things to Do and See in Buffalo | 12 Place to Eat in Buffalo RBS had a wonderful time at Parlor Dry Bar and Shuckers Grill.

{November}

I organized an event with Megan George of the Zen Succulent at Ramble Supply Co. Celebrated my mom's birthday at Hen and Hog. Hosted Thanksgiving at our house. Finally made it to an East Carolina game! {December} Did my first holiday home tour. Hosted our 3rd annual tacky Christmas sweater party. Shared my winter bucket list. Tonight, we'll be ringing in 2016 with some of our best friends after a wonderful dinner at Angus Barn.  I'll be posting tomorrow about my 2016 goals.  Happy New Year's Eve!  Enjoy whatever plans you have tonight!  And thanks so much for reading along with me over the past year.
