If you've been here for a while, you know I have a lot of pride in my state. I find myself searching for locally made products to incorporate into my daily life. I had heard of High Cotton before, but it wasn't until this past fall that I went in to their shop in downtown Raleigh. I absolutely adore their ties and bowties for men, but their t-shirts are made of the softest cotton. Fun fact, the cotton is grown on a farm in my old stomping grounds in eastern North Carolina. I love saying on the back of the shirt, too. It ties perfectly into what I taught in social studies, but also to my grandparents' cotton farm. If you catch me on a Saturday running errands, I'm probably wearing a long-sleeve shirt from High Cotton.

Love this southern pride look!
ReplyDeleteSo cute!! Is this the company that started as a bowtie company for doctors? I feel like I've read about it - but maybe that was another local company... something about the cotton being washable when silk wasn't.
ReplyDeleteSO cute - it's always nice to be able to support local shops and vendors!
