Weekending: Bull City Bites

Happy Monday, y'all!  I hope you had a great weekend.  I love a good weekend of food and friends!  DG was gone this weekend, so I got in a lot of girl time, and I feel so rejuvenated to take on the week.  Here's a quick iPhone dump of what I was up to this weekend.
Friday, I headed in to Durham for Bull City Burger for dinner for a friend's birthday.  Their Joan Jett black bean burger never disappoints.
Saturday, I got up early and met up with Em and fashionistas Amy, Angela, Natalie, and Rebecca for a new photo shoot.  Angela and I went out for brunch at Joule afterwards, but not before I fell down the steps in the parking garage and did some damage to my shoulder.  #clumsygirlproblems
I came home and iced my shoulder before getting ready for dinner with some of my best girlfrans in Durham.  We tried a new to us sushi restaurant, Basan Bull City Sushi, in Durham.  We sat at a traditional Japanese table, which was quite interesting when we got there and when we left, but the food was delicious!  They even treated us to an appetizer of tempura veggies.

If you live in the area, I highly recommend Basan for sushi.  There wasn't a sushi roll that wasn't delicious.  And that lava cake?  Holy wow.  I'm not a huge sweets person, but I am craving that again now.
This group of girls is just such a wonderful group!  They are so fun, no drama, and uplifting.  It's rare to find that, and I'm so lucky to call them my friends.
How was your weekend?  Link up with Biana and tell us all about your weekend!
