Happy Monday, y'all! I'm writing this post right after finding out that I'm off work today for winter weather. This weather is something else, I tell ya. But for the past few years, this weekend/week is always the one where we get hit the hardest with winter weather. I'm going to enjoy the extra day before DG's soccer season kicks into gear. And before we leave Thursday for warmer, sunny temperatures in Florida!
This weekending post is a bit of a catch up. Last weekend, I wrote about our Raleigh Blog Society's Galentine's Brunch. But Saturday night, DG and I went to Tarboro to try a new-to-us restaurant, On the Square. It was absolutely delicious and a real gem in a sweet, Southern town. We met our friends Hillary & Adam and I thoroughly enjoyed catching up with them! I ordered a seafood English muffin and DG got the chicken. And look at my friends letting me get a picture of our dessert before digging in (you know they all made fun of me).
Fastforward to this past weekend, when DG and I were uber productive. We did make time to celebrate our dating anniversary by having lunch at
The Blistered Pig in Apex. Their shrimp po'boy was on point. I've clearly been feeling seafood.
Just in time to head to Florida for some fresh grouper!
Sunday, I delivered a table I refinished for
Danielle, and I can't wait to share the details with you this week. I also tried out my new lip colors from
Bite Beauty thanks to
Influenster.
And, of course, got a Rifle Paper Co. card for DG's Valentine. How perfect is this manicure from Paintbar? I went to Bouquets & Bubbly hosted by Shelby, Zelle, and Kendra Scott Wednesday and got this awesome manicure!
