Friday Favorites: Excitement!

It has been a happy, productive, and wonderful Friday. The center is filled with incredible guests, things are coming together for our #HarvestGala fundraiser and I got to work with some great people. Fantastic Friday. Gratitude: my staff for the bosses day treats. Thank you for being part of my team and for working so hard to accomplish all the great things we do. #blessed #MyTeamRocks Goal: pack. #2015GratitudesAndGoals:

Happy, Happy Friday, friends!  I am feeling so excited and rejuvenated after some time of soul searching.  If you've been here for a while, you know I've been pursuing some new passions.  I'm excited to announce that I'll be pursuing those interests and passions this summer.  Stay tuned for what that means for Champagne & Suburbs!  This image really spoke to me after two separate meetings this week with people who have encouraged me to take the steps that I'm taking.  All the hand raise emojis over here, y'all!

It's no secret that I'm still smitten over eastern North Carolina.  I am also incredibly passionate about equal opportunities for education in rural areas.  This article about Raising Bertie from Bit & Grain has me all worked up.  I wrote this post back in September, and while I think I misled what my intentions were, just know that this is part of where my passions are still going.  We're not moving from Raleigh, but I'll be spending more time in Eastern North Carolina and I can't wait to share with you what I'll be doing.

I am SO excited about my Emily Ley planner for this year!  I'm clearly feeling pineapples these days.  How fun is this cocktail cup?  And that Havana Rifle Paper print has me itching for a trip to Cuba.  I love this oyster print, too!

PDQ Fresh Foods is one of our favorite restaurants in the area.  It's a little ways from our house, but close to where DG works, so we met for dinner Wednesday to try the new zucchini fries.  We ended up sampling a ton of menu items and every sauce that they offer.  It was absolutely delicious and hard to pick a favorite.  I have always been a fan of zucchini, and DG even liked them.  It was an all-around win!

Have you seen my new shop tab?  I'm sharing some of my tried-and-true, favorite items on my shop page!  I am so excited about the new addition.  Can you name my favorite brands?   I really am a creature of habit and predictable.

Local people!  DG is too legit to quit and has started two diffrent soccer academies this summer!  If you have soccer kiddos, be sure to check it out and sign your kids up using the link here.  P.S. Today is one month until the first academy, so if you sign up today, you'll receive $25 off!

Did y'all check out this week's posts?  Here's my recap of mother's day, a lightweight cardigan for summer, CorePower, and a white & gold summer look.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend!  I'm hosting my first event with NC Blogger Network tomorrow and we have family friends coming in to town on Sunday!  I can't wait to recap with you Monday!
