Hello & Happy Friday, friends!  I cannot believe it's the last weekend of July!  I'm gearing up for my trip next week to Charleston for The Blog Societies Conference!  I'm trying to not wish time away, but I've been looking forward to this conference for quite some time now!  So, this week's opening image is dedicated to beautiful Charleston.

Last week, I posted about Presidential podcasts and I binge-listened to get caught up.  Y'all!  I can't recommend enough.  If you've been reading here for a while, you A) are awesome and B) know I am the biggest United States history nerd.  I am incredibly passionate about voting and making sure that people are informed and exercise the right to vote.  This isn't something that should be taken for granted, and is incredibly important for our future generations.  When I saw Reese Witherspoon with this tote, I didn't even hesitate to order it.

I'm pictured here in front of Andrew Johnson's birthplace, which is located in Mordecai Park in Raleigh, NC.  Now that both conventions have ended, we're closing on when debates start.  I hope you listen to be informed when we vote this fall, y'all!

I've been back at Pure Barre for 1 month now.  The playlists do nothing but good things for my focus.  This song is one that we usually end to and the beat is seriously the best.  Once it's finally cool enough to run in NC, I'll definitely be using this on my playlist.

The SL BLT - June 2016 Recipes - Southernliving. Recipe: The SL BLT Punch up store-bought mayonnaise with these flavor-boosting ideas: For extra tang and heat, zest a small lemon and grind lots of black pepper into the mayo. For a hint of green, chop a small handful of tender herbs—parsley, basil, tarragon, dill—and fold them into the mayo.:

I eat a BLT at least three times a week for lunch.  I got fresh sourdough bread from Whole Foods (see post here) and I really love that with Duke's mayo (seen here) and bacon, lettuce, and tomato from my garden.  It's the best lunch of summer.

I'm in a weird rut right now where I'm not looking to do more work around our house because I'm ready for a farm house.  I'll take this one.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
