Happy Friday, y'all! I'm struggling with managing my time right now from wrapping up the end of the school year to finalizing the biggest day of my life to date. I have hit a proverbal brick wall right now with blogging. I don't have as much time to scour the Internet for material, so my posts will be really sporadic for the next few weeks. Yesterday was the last day of school for the 2013-14 school year. I am really happy with the progress I made in cleaning up my classroom so it is ready to go in August. I also got a ton of work done for the next school year, which is always invigorating as well. It was a bittersweet ending because I loved my classes this school year, and it's always hard to see good classes go. Next year, I'm coming back with a new last name and that's going to be a weird feeling.

So, Tuesday, I went to the eye doctor. I got a new pair of contacts, wore them for the duration of the day, and took them out before bed. I woke up at 4:00AM Wednesday and couldn't open my eyes because my eye lids were so swollen. I spent the entire day with swollen eye lids. Thursday, I went back to the doctor to diagnose the problem. I was allergic to the contacts. Anyone else had an allergic reaction to contacts? Did even know that was possible? (Bueller...?) I would post a picture, but I'd never be able redeem myself.

To celebrate the end of school, DG and I went out to dinner at our favorite local barbeque place last night. That also now means we have 15 more days until the wedding. Eep! Good thing I'm eating so healthy. Whoops.
