Friday Favorites: The Happy Edition

Happy Friday, y'all!  I can't believe today is halfway through the school year.  Seriously, where does time go?  Thank you all for your sweet wishes for my birthday Tuesday!  I tell y'all all the time, but I just love this little online community.  I am so appreciative of you all reading my thoughts and musings for being so supportive.  Here are my favorites from this week.
I woke up on Tuesday to DG making me my favorite breakfast and my favorite coffee in my favorite mug.  He surprised me with the necklace I wanted, after I had bought it for myself over the weekend.  The best part is that necklace says "You're a little nuts in a good way."  Perfect for me!  And of course, my favorite candle.
DG told me to be home and ready to go by 5:15 on Tuesday night.  He surprised me with dinner at Top of the Hill in Chapel Hill.  I hadn't been in about 3 years.  It was just as delicious as I remember and we had a great server.

We got homemade pretzels for an appetizer and they were HUGE.  For dinner, I ordered the lobster mac & cheese and DG ordered buttermilk fried chicken.  We were both so pleased with our dishes.  DG also surprised me with tickets to the Lion King in March.  I am so very excited about that!  It's one of my favorite musicals and I adore DPAC.
Hustle & Heart Insulated Tumbler
I bought this insulated mug from The Flourish Market.  I love that it supplies fresh water for one year to a person in need.  Even cooler, you get the coordinates for where you're helping!  Use code CHAMPSANDBURBS for free shipping!
I absolutely adore this article from Glitter Guide about how to create better habits..  The last tip is so important!
What are you loving this week?  Have a great weekend and see you back here Monday for Weekending with Biana!
Did you catch this week's posts?  Here is my weekend recap, my birthday confessions, a fringed poncho look, and a snack stadium tutorial!
